This hotel room in Las Vegas for $ 100,000 a night is the most expensive in America
Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas takes the concept of luxury travel to an entirely new level. The new Empathy Suite designed by Damien-Hirst costs $ 100,000 per night.
That room is the most expensive in America, beating one at The Mark hotel, which previously won an award of $ 75,000 per night. And Empathy is also one of the most expensive hotel accommodations in the world, according to The Palms. (Indeed, it’s potentially the most expensive: the Royal Penthouse Suite at the President Wilson Hotel in Geneva – around $ 80,000 per night – is the most expensive suite in the world in 2018, according to Lonely Planet.)
The 9,000-square-foot two-story sky villa at the top of the Palms offers facilities including a trendy salty relaxation room, unlimited hot tub overlooking the Las Vegas Strip and 24-hour personal butler service. The hall was designed by world-renowned artist Hirst and exhibits several famous original works, such as the “Winner / Loser” icon, with two bull sharks hanging on formalin.
Hirst – famous for his controversial work – also created a curved bar with 13 chairs filled with medical waste, and Hirst’s “Here for a good time, Not a Long Time” hung above the bar, which features a marlin and marlin tassidermy framework. Of course, Hirst’s “Vegas”, a medicine cabinet filled with diamonds, is displayed in the suite and other reasons why Hirst is famous can be seen everywhere, like a laser cut butterfly.
